20 D price drop????

This may be old news and in the wrong forum but I thought more would see it here. B & H is selling the 20 D (body only) for $1370 (price when you add it to your cart).

20D's have been selling like hot-cakes . . . seems a LOT of folks here have one. Seems a little early for a replacement? But with the PMA or whatever coming up towards the end of the month, who knows. I am always up for cheeper, faster, better. At $1367.00 w/lens, they will sell a bunch more of them. I have interest in a second body anyway so this might be a good thing.

man i got ripped then. i ordered mine on 2-7 and it was 1489. the 20D + 18-55 USM kit.
oh well still worth it.
now if i could just calm down a bit. been a mess since i ordered it. trying to read the manual and learn a thing or two so when it arrives i can go shooting.

Onecall - $1379 right now. They're reputable - I got my 1D Mk II there.

B&H has the 20D for $1369.95 and the 1D MKII for 3999.95 I also wonder what Canon may be bringing out. :confused: 10D never had a price drop until after it was replaced. Of course N***n didn't have the D70 out either. Lets hear it for competition! :lol:

The 10D might have been an odd one - Canon usually lowers prices a bit after the initial introduction. I don't expect the 20D or the 1D Mk II to leave any time soon. Of course, I could be incredibly wrong (as I occasionally am). :)

BTW, B&H's price on the 1D Mk II has finally caught up with others. I got mine elsewhere in November for $4100.

Oh, don't get me wrong - I love B&H. And they love me! :)
I was just firing out a known price from a site that had a pretty big jump on reduced-price 1D Mk II's compared to B&H. Well, they did in November but B&H is very competitive, reliable, and easy to deal with.
