I wish this pic wasnt so blown out. Not sure who bad it looks for everyone else. I think i need to recalibrate my monitor. The natural light was just too harsh against a white cat. I love how she poses though.

I don't think monitor calibration would be an issue for the window area to be blown out the way it is. What you need to do is get your exposure from the window and fill with flash. A great shot. I say that because it is identical to where my cat sleeps. On the back of the sofa on the left beside the window. :D

no no... i know the whole blown out thing doesnt have anythign to do with the monitor. I am just not sure how the pic looks to other people, tint and brightness wise. My wife commented that pics look very different on my LCD than they do on her laptop LCD.

It is hard to say how it looks in comparison to what you see. If you had a crt monitor then you would likely have a better idea.
