Hello, I am a recent graduate of the Washington School of Photography and on my way to coming into my own as a photographer. I have recently created a new site to demo some of my work. If you wouldn't mind, I would appreciate your critiques good or bad. Comments on the site or photographs are welcomed. Thank you in advance. The site is http://www.rattles2rings.com. I look forward to seeing what you think.

She's got a big bruise on her knee too.

I found the site too slow to bother browsing - it takes 5-7 seconds to load each image when I click on the number, which is way too slow. People will go elsewhere.

Photos look good, but do take slightly longer than other sites to load.
Also try and edit the index page to give it a title, perhaps your website name?
And some meta tags, so can be googled?

Very slow. Too much extra fluff, sound effects and the canned music gets old very quickly. I would give that all up to help speed up your site. On a more positive note, welcome to the forum and you look like you are off to a good start.

Lovely lovely shots and site design. I'm using Safari and the images are taking 2 seconds to load for me. Strange how it's taking longer for others.
My only gripes are the sound affects and music, but thats just me. Impressive all the same.

I don't think your site stands out as being anything that would grab my attention... the design looks like every other photography site I've seen and is kind of slow on my computer as well. And the music is a bit annoying.
Perhaps try some unique and flashy ways to present your photos. Presentation is everything.

Cut the music, but, otherwise, I liked it and it shows thought and competence.
I think portraits 7/8 (male, can't recall the exact number of the photos) there's a strong shadow top/left of the head.
As for load times, if that site is stuggling to load find out if it is related to a resize of the photos for display, the total number of photos, then optimize it.

Shots 1 and 10 show a glaring difference, despite being the same girls with the same outfits.
I like the layout, but you should be a bit more selective in what shots you use as portfolio examples.

As said the images are way too slow, even with the promise of a HOT girl I could only be bothered waiting for one image to update before leaving the site.
seemed to have a nice overall look though and the wife just asked me to turn the annoying sound off.

I just found that none of your links work on the services page, using Safari anyway.

Having some problems w/ some of the links working at times. They don't take me anywhere. I have to click on them again or wait a bit.

Reorder your pictures so your best ones are first. The first one on event, wedding, and children are definitely not your best shots. And small suggestion, but I would like it better if it automatically advanced through pictures. I hate having to click through pictures, but maybe that's just me.

Friggin noise the site made when i opened it scared the crap out of me.
Also, I think you need to make the bottom numbers a brighter color. Took me a while to figure out how to switch to the next picture.
