sharing web hosting

for host monster it says you can host unlimited domains. does this mean i can share hosting with friends with different domain names with respective ftp accounts? it would be great to cut the cost in half.

Yup, only thing to remember is it collectively counts on space and your bandwidth.

Make sure you can grant "control panel" access to additional users otherwise you end up doing all the admin such as mail accounts, ftp access etc.
