Wedding with Maternity pics???

This weekend I've been challenged.

Yes, the wedding is about the bride and groom... but you know that the family is important too......... so

The bride's sister and matron of honor is 7 months pregnant. yes, 7 months.

Apparently she's concerned about looking big. So the bride said, "I don't know if there are any poses you can suggest to her.

In all honesty, I've never had such a pregnant MOH.

Does anyone have suggestions for when we do family/group shots?

I guess my concern is spending too much time trying to pose her. Apparently she is very self-conscious.

That's too bad. My wife's best friend was our matron of honor and was 8 months pregnant at the time, she looked wonderful and looked like a beautiful pregnant woman in our wedding photos. Sorry I can't help you with any posing, but I would just be engaging with her when you meet her and tell her how beautiful she looks. Do everything you can to make her comfortable in front of the camera, if she feels ugly it won't matter how you pose her.

if she feels ugly it won't matter how you pose her.That's what I'm afraid of. I've heard not so flattering things about her current mood. I'll be making the best of it. Hopefully she will too.

I think the gowns are dark dark colors too. we'll see. :)

well, long story short, it went well. :)

She felt good that day and looked beautiful too!

But, interesting thing, she was very beachball-y so she did not have a bad side. The pictures looked good no matter what. The only bad ones were 'my fault' :)
