PP is my biggest reason for C&C here, are these to contrasty? too dark? They just don't seem right to me as they are...

Maybe im just tired, but they all seem out of focus to me.
Maybe something is wrong with your lens/camera?

The two you reposted are definately sharper.
Nice but I like the action shots better.

You and me both, but to shoot the action shots I had to shoot the show and shine stuff too

Yea, the first set looks OOF on my monitor too. The second shots look much sharper.

Whatever you did to process the first shots definitely messed up the sharpness. Very muddy looking. The two shots you posted as unprocessed are nice and sharp.

I agree with Dan. They looks good in color managed Firefox3. Firefox 3 "Enable Color Management" Trick. (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=561719)

The first two its whatever my gallery did to resize them. The latest are ones I resized in photoshop, both from the same post processing :D So lesson learned that I need more controll :)
Thanks for the comments!

Agreed that the shots look much better in the second post.
About the original questions, I find the bright sky distracting in the first shot.
