Longwood Gardens

We're headed to Wilmington DE over the weekend, Oct 2-7, does anyone know if Longwood or any of the other DuPont gardens are showing any fall color? Hoping to get to Longwood anyway but it'd be nice to know ahead of time. Thanks.

I think it's too early for any fall colors but Im sure they have a fantastic fall display

Thanks. We were there in spring and I do remember some talk about a mum display in fall. Just hoping for leverage when hubby wants to do something else, I could bring up fall colors........

i'm not far from Longwood Gardens. i'll tell you the trees have not really changed color yet around here. they are mostly still green, but anyway, i'm sure Longwood has they fall setup going on which is probably very nice in itself.

Thanks for the replies. Not much for fall color but lots of fun in the water gardens and a spectacular blown glass pumpkin display that I have a gazillion shots of. Really worth going for photos but Longwood always is. I'll try to get around to posting examples this week.
