Whoops! Sorry about that- I was counting on the website emailing me to tell me there had been an update, but it didn't happen this time.
It was a tricky one- I used google to search to start with, but wasn't getting anywhere with it until we found out it was in California. The key was the arch- I can't remember what the search terms were but my general techique is do a google image search and then follow-up any possibles that turn up with a search on flickr. With this one I found a link on Wikipedia too that showed the shape of the arch, and the background habitat.

The primary purpose of this building was not a church but as a residence, and as such it has a chapel inside it along with kitchens, state rooms, bedrooms, etc. The chapel has a very famous signature scratched on a wall and is still used as a Roman Catholic chapel today.

You got it!
Butte, Montana was one of the most notorious western boomtowns during the 1920's - brothels, gambling, drinking, organized crime, etc... basically the Las Vegas of the early 20th century. It is also where Robert "Evil" Knievel grew up and earned his "Evil" nickname while serving time in the city's notorious jail. It's a great city to observe what the 1920's looked like in the west as most of the buildings from that era still cover the majority of the city.
