No beatings needed, this is a nice shot. Would have been nice to have the turtle completely in the frame, but exposure and colour are very nice nonetheless.

Looks like you are off to a nice start. Never seen big res markings like that on a turtle. Lots of color on him. Come to think of it, not sure I have ever noticed color on a turtle. Nice Shot.

Thanks for the feedback. I would have loved to get more of a profile shot, but I was restricted to the boardwalk which was about 4 feet above the water level of the swamp.
