Focus Beep

hello every one

why doesn’t my 20d give me a focus conformation beep when i am in TV or AV??

try checking to see if you're in AI Servo, perhaps. It won't beep in AI Servo because it's constantly refocusing.
Also, I'm sure you've checked it, but it's worth checking again to make sure the beep confirmation is turned on in the menu

put it on single shot and it beeps, but when you use the sports mode it beeps and thats AI Servo

Go to the menu -- 3rd option down: Beep = On?

Oh, if it's not beeping it could be because it's not able to focus or you're wayyyyy out of f/stops or shutter speeds.

the beeper is turned on

if it put the lens into MF i will get a beep and the focus spots will light up, but it wont beep on AF

it is all turned on

now if i put it on sports setting it will beep when it get focus and thats in AIServo, but it wont do it on TV or AV

If AI servo's turned on it won't beep. Change the focus mode to single, rather than AI focus or AI servo.
