That is an impressive looking grip. Like to hear what people have to say about that grip too.

I used one for one day of shooting. the buttons on the grip kept getting pushed while I was shooting & changing the settings... it got to be irritating.

Wonder if they are any good. To be honest though I would spend 30 or 40 more on a used Canon grip.

I might just get one of these.. When I'm out camping doing long exposures; it sucks to always be clock watching. I can "Set it and forget it" until I hear the shutter click.
Thanks for the feedback in this and the other thread that it does actually work!

sure is a hell of a lot cheaper than a canon grip *and* a TC80N3...
I'd probably get it if the damned thing wasn't a grip, I just don't fancy putting an RRS plate on it... that would feel like going back in time and catching yourself masturbating. Just so damned wrong.

There are similar grips to be found at Dealextreme (http://www.dealextreme.com/). A search on Canon will get you to them. Free shipping, but it can take a while from Hong Kong.
