A question I’d like to ask any owners of the Epson Stylus Photo2100 (2200 in the US).
How much do you pay for a genuine Epson replacement ink cartridges
Here in the UK from the Buy Epson Shop they are £12.70 about $23.00.
I’ve have been told that they are half that price in the US.
I can get them cheaper then £12.70 in the UK about £10 from MX2 but it just seems odd that the same cartridge can be half the price in the US.

Try here: www.consumableitems.co.uk . He is a personal friend of mine and my Canon cartridges are nearly £2.00 cheaper than anywhere else I have found.

check out www.uniteddigitalsolutions.com (http://www.uniteddigitalsolutions.com), they offer compatible ink cartridges, which is as good as the original but not as expensive. i usually buy their HP ink cartridges, but they offer a line compatible ink cartridges from apple to xerox...
If you do a lot of printing you might look into this. ;)
Instead of refilling cartridges I'd suggest go in for lower cost compatible cartridges. Among the three, original equipment manufacturer(oem), ink refill or compatible cartridges, the last one is the ideal option. Taking into consideration the cost---hands down refill and compatible cartridges trump over the OEM. But most users claim (due to ink refill), that they experience consequences. i think this would be due to the refill (rule of thumb: only refill a cartridge ONCE. More than this and you risk diminishing the quality of the printout and damaging the cartridge and/or the printer itself)
With the HP ink cartridges provided by http://www.uniteddigitalsolutions.com/?page=prcat&cid=77 (aside from HP, they offer variety of compatibles like epson printer cartridges (http://uniteddigitalsolutions.com/?page=prcat&cid=46), tektronix print cartridges
(http://uniteddigitalsolutions.com/index.php?page=prcat&cid=91), pitney bowes ink cartridges (http://uniteddigitalsolutions.com/?page=prcat&cid=87) and
minolta toner cartridges (http://uniteddigitalsolutions.com/?page=prcat&cid=83) ), i have yet to experience any of the consequences
With these items raised, my money would be with the compatible cartridges.

Probably since we are a bigger market and have less taxes.
