I am picking up a G10 this afternoon for $500 usd.
Tomorrow I am doing a mission and will do it with the
G9 and G10. I will post results from both as this will be a good comparisoon.

Hi Shooter, it's very kind of you to offer. Only two things come to mind for me - High ISO and a few shots comparing 28mm to the G9's 35mm.

For High ISO, anything above ISO 400 would be great and it would be especially good if you could also do the same scene with the G9.

As for 28mm vs. 35mm, I'm very well aware of the differences due to my SLR background, but nevertheless I feel it would be useful for people to actually see what difference 28mm is compared to 35mm.

Unrelated to shots, it would be great to also know about the ergonomics of this new camera. The specs assert a better grip, so let's hope that's true. Also an opinion on the new LCD would be nice too!

In fact, I plan on processing the files in the same software
with no noise reduction....

Does it come with the latest DPP? If so please test to see if it will open both g10/G9 files.
