Can I search: CategoryA AND CategoryB

I know I can search within an Exhibition for a Category:

http://www.biglens.com/gallery/list.php?exhibition=90&category=12

But I would like to search for two categories:

http://www.biglens.com/gallery/list.php?exhibition=90&category=12+33

So search Exhibition 90 for photos in categories 12 and 33.

No, not in list.php but with snippets, yes.

There is no technical limitation to make EE search from several defined categories from list.php (coding that in would be 30 minute job), but the problem is the selection menu. If it is enabled to accept multiple selections it must be opened fully and that takes a lot of screen estate. That is why I intend to save this feature to "advanced search" page.

For my purposes I am not interested in a menu, just the ability to embed the search in a URL. Does snippets.php currently do this? If so, which version and do you have an example?

Also, is it possible to do something like:

(Exhibition10 OR Exhibition33) AND CategoryA

You can get category id's from category editor.
