The larger photo or the smaller one?

I was originally going to do the smaller one, and when I was preparing to free transform, I thought it looked kind of cool being too big for the frame.

But often I have weird ideas about things.... so I thought it would be fun to get your opinions. Ultimately the decision will be up to Emily (with a little guidance maybe).

Thanks for looking! :)

#1 the larger picture

or #2 the picture to fit the frame....?

2nd one as well.

Ya know, I was wondering why I wasn't getting a lot of advice in the sport section about swim shots... it's because most other parts of the world are done with the swim season.... doh!

Happy Birthday to Emily!

Kristy, I like the second, but I have a nit about the text being transformed with the frame. My $.02.

...I am also hosting a swim party.. October 18th. It is still over 100 here during the day.

i agree with the masses on 2. the first just bleeds too much out of that square you have there so the patch of hair just above doesn't fit well.

My only complaint is I have tried to RSVP for the last hour and (623) 3 is getting me no where!!! ROFL

Cool looking layout... keep it... I smell a senior sale in the works.

Have a fun party!

Kristy,

Another vote here for #2.

And to all you people WISHING you could have a pool party in October, you may be able to actually have one during the summer! We unfortunately could not as everyone could spontaneously combust and just think of the mess. :D

Enjoy your change in seasons please for those of us who don't have the luxury. ;)

WOW! I'm gone for a few hours and look at the awesome response! I guess we love to vote for things, huh? THANK YOU to everyone. I so appreciate your time.

Looks like #2 has it hands down.. :) I just scheduled an eye exam to see what is wrong with mine... since I'm the only one that even thought for a second about the bigger one... I guess I'm officially "weird".

Yes.... we DO swim here in October... we actually wear shorts and tank tops while Trick or Treating at night.. and we HOPE that we can not turn the air conditioner on for THanksgiving... **sigh** it's HOT... I'm moving to Northern California as soon as I can afford a house... anyone want a house guest for an extened amount of time... the dog doesn't bite very often... lol... :)

Happy Friday!

#2 here as well. Nice job on the design. I love your little swirly bits. :D

Thanks... the borders are actually a template that I downloaded from somewhere, forever and a day ago..... It has about 10 different layers of stuff on it.. but I like to pick and choose pieces of it for different things....

I can't take credit for anything other than pulling different frames and borders and swirls, from various places and putting them together and altering colors to make it work... I wish I were more creative.

LOL @ Kristy! Ok, so maybe you are wierd! *Runs and hides* :D :D :D

Hey..... you callin' me weird? Good thing you're running to hide... ;)

i actually prefer #1

Birds of a feather.... :)

No, Kristy, you're not weird. At least not compared to me.

And BTW, how DARE she turn nine with all her teeth in place? Hasn't anybody explained the rules of kid-dom to her?

I'm with the minority; I like #1 better. Yes, #2 is nice and sane and contained. But to me it looks like something my scrapbook-happy neighbor would produce. #1 is edgier. If I use my hands to crop around the frame you drew, it's a perfect picture of your daughter. But by exceeding the boundaries, I think you're saying that she's wild, free-spirited, unlimited. That's my kind of kid.

(On the other hand, to ground things in a bit of reality, in the long run it doesn't matter a hoot. Nobody is going to show up or stay away depending on which invitation you send!)

I like to think and, sometimes, crop "out of the box". I like number 1 though I know that the decision was made long ago. I think that something different catches a bit more attention and allows people to expand their thinking with photographs as well. Both cool, but I love number one. did you use Graphic Authority software by chance? I love it! Mrs. Redfish
