working trying to figure this hdr stuff out. this is crabtree falls in virginia. i combined two images for this hdr. im trying to not overcook these things.

Usually HDR is comprised of 3 or more bracketed exposures.

Not all shots/compositions are ideal for HDR conversion.

THe thing that I notice about this hdr is that the gold/yellow leaves etc. are too bright. But other than that I like the look of the shot.

Yes, I don't think this is a good HDR candidate.
It's a nice capture / frame, but it seems a bit too saturated for me and perhaps the white balance needs some tweaking.
