Hi
I've just purchased a Canon 300D Digital camera and getting to grips with it. However today I attempted to install the required drivers software etc on the CD. When I'm prompted for my region I enter European and select English for UK. However the installer soon 'fails' I think with the following message
You are trying to install software that has a different language to your operating system.
PhotoRecord runs in English on this operating system.
I have subsequently connected the camera and was able to view the images on MS Picture Viewer but don't believe all of the required components are installed. The only application installed appears to be PhotoStitch under Canon-utilities. Is this correct ?
As far as the camera goes I have tested a few shots and when I use flash it pops up correclty but doesn't return. Even if I power off the camera it stays up. The only way is to push it down - is this correct ?
Thanks in advance
