Those are great! I was up there in late April, 2004 and the weather was leaving a lot to be desired. I took a thousand or so pics in the week I was up there. I think the best are from Glen More Park up in the Highlands. I should probably look into tweeking them as it were. I have a few others but they are few and far between. Maybe they will look better after tweeking. Idunno.

Hi John,
That first pano from Fairlie Moor is stunning, I like it a lot.
The third, of Arran at sunset, I also like.
Would the sunset shot be from Portencross. :?:

Just did, John.
Some great shots there.
You've managed to get some great light in the Eglinton Castle shots.
The meerkats are always a joy, so laid back.

It was awesome, up there I had a great time; it just was not conducive to taking pics. I am in total agreement there on the not the norm. That was also the case in East Anglia, England where I lived for 3 years. I'm back on US turf now.

nice! i recognised the place straight away! i live in Saltcoats myself. I've taken a few pics with my old Fuji S5000 but they're too noisy and too Fuji to post here lol. One is of a sunset and the other a panorama from the viewpoint overlooking largs.

Nice pics and it's always good to see familiar places, especially so close!

Glad i visit this site, i don't know why as i have a D70 but i love the quality of the shots on here, some talented photographers.

#1 is a great pano. But where are the trees? Looks like you could walk in the wide open country forever.
