Well I am having some issues.
I have an iMac and a 2nd monitor running (Dell 2405). I am trying to calibrate the Dell and having issues.
All colors look great except blues. My blues are going towards purple or have a ting of purple in them.
It looks bad lol
I am using eye-one display 2 for my calibration.
Any clue on maybe how to fix this?

The Dell 2405FPW (*) (widescreen) has a 24 inch 12 ms (g2g) PVA (Samsung LTM240M1-L01) panel. So I'd not expect big problems.
I've not yet ran dual displays off a single graphic card.
Is the iMac capable of loading a LUT for both displays seperately (so: is it a "dual head" card)?
Sorry, no personal experience with it yet.

moved this off to a seperate thread. You might get more help that way ;)

rene,
The imac is a aluminum type imac.
It does allow me to choose a profile for each monitor when I open up the settings area for that. It sends a box to each monitor where you can choose the size (1920x*) along with a color profile.
So I am assuming it does.

also not sure why this was moved as this has to do with calibrating which the thread it was in was about that?

Because it was in the sticky. No idea how many people look in there, but I figured you had a way better chance finding an answer here :)
I think it's more hardware related then software related...
On the choosing a different profile for both screens: That does not mean that it's a dual head card. But like I said, no personal experience...
Does the first screen change when you calibrate the second?
I'll have to search a bit...

rene,
I got it fixed, I took back the first calibrator and purchased a Spyder3 elite version.
Colors are much better on both monitors. Blue looks blue now

Wow. Nice to hear.
Is the screen a wide gamut screen? I've heard of the spyder 2 not being good with them, but didn't know that it could cause blues to go purple...
