Hello,

I'm sorry to mess up this forum but........

How do you post a picture? I have online albums and of course I have images on my computer. Would anyone walk me through the process or at least point me in the right direction, please?

Thanks so much.

That's not an address for a picture. It's the address for a web page that the picture is displayed on. You can't link to a web page with the IMG tag.

When you're at that page, right click on the picture and select "View image". That will bring the picture up in a blank browser window. The address displayed in the address bar will now be the direct link to the image itself. That's the one you need to use.

You mean the "View Picture" option? I use Firefox, but I thought that was in IE also. Let me check...

If you're using IE, select the "Properties" option. The address you need is on the "Address (URL)" field in the "Properties" box.

I did think of trying that actually but the address of the picture i was trying it on (not this one) looked identical to the webpage address
I mustn't have looked properly or smething else weird was happening.

Thanks VERY much for sorting that out for me!!:D :D :D
It's been bugging me for months and months but i've never got around to doing anything about it
