Good effort, & pretty nice lighting on the car.

Some of your still shots are too tight & cut off the ends of the car. And do we really need to see multiple walk-arounds of the car that are essentially the same thing? A big part of video is editing & keeping it interesting & I was bored after the 2nd trip around. Show some details & maybe an interior shot.

For your still still video shots, you need to use a tripod. And when you're moving around it (dolly shots), you need to be very smooth. Sometimes using the widest angle lens setting will help. Better yet would be to get something like this "Steadycam stabiliser".

i have looked at the stabilizers but i'm not really doing this for anything other than fun so I don't want to invest hundreds of dollars into it. I did a car show today and after this i've realized I just want to do it to bring a little more coverage to my readers, not as something I want to eventually sell...that and I SUCK at running a video camera! haha

I actually made a little stabilizer but it wasn't anything like the link you sent, There are a lot of different ones. You might try to add 10-20 pounds of weight to the camera which would help keep it steady. There's a reason why sniper rifles are heavier than assault weapons?
My rig was 18# without the battery.

here's the video from today: Better. The titles stay up too long & the pans are just a bit too fast. When you pan, put the exposure on M so the frame doesn't go from OK to dark to light.

there is no exposure adjustment, it's just a cheap video camera I got at wal-mart a week or so ago. like i said, i'm just doing this to add a little coverage and keep my website a little more interesting.

I think if I had a 20lb stabilizer for my camera that is probably 5 ounces, it may not work so well and I'd get tired of carrying it around. I do appreciate the criticism though, it's the only way to get better (that and practice)
