Hi All,
posted these in the talk section by mistake
went to a nearby park few days back for a flower shoot....couldn't find good shots of flowers...
but as it started raining, got some captures of children enjoying it..
Below are the links...
1. I know she is out of focus...the little girl was jumping all over...

very cute kids! I would love it if #1 were in focus....and #2 is grainy, but great set-ups and candid moments, that's what it's all about.

yeah...I tried really hard to get the girl in focus...and when I thought I can get it...she noticed me...and then became conscious of the camera....this was the best that I could get that day....shame when I say that... :(
yeah...noticed what you mean with the second image....forgot to do noise processing on this one...thanks for pointing this out...
thanks for your comments..

You were at 1/30th at ISO 100 at 300mm. You didn't have a chance on the focus. Watch those shutter speeds. You'll need a pretty fast shutter speed to get things in focus at 300mm. Bump your ISO way up to get in more light and keep saving for that fast lens. :)

On #2, you might try cropping a bit on the right. I think it might help center the viewer's attention on the kids.

yeah...as I said I was there for flowers...macro flowers I should say...and Sigma 70-300 can be used as a cheap macro...so thats the reason for selecting a wrong lens for kids...
Forgot to change the ISO though...point noted...will be careful next time...
and yeah...saving for the fast one.... :)
thanks for your comments...
