no1 two goldringed dragonflys matting no2 a red darter at rest ,tried very hard to get these matting in flight but they fly that fast you all ways lose in the view finder

Nice shots. I assume these were taken during the summer - bit late for them now.
Think #1 is Southern Hawkers (or one of the other hawkers) - the golden-ringed is black & yellow (see here http://www.dragonflysoc.org.uk/cobol.html)

Nice pics.
I would say the first pair are Migrant Hawkers (which you will still be seeing) and the second one is a Common Darter.
Lets hope we get some more warm sunny weather yet so that we can enjoy seeing the last few before winter :-)
