Not really a motorsport, but it is a race. Anyways, my first post wont be of any finished pictures, but a question I had that appeared in some. I assume its an easy fix. But anyways, I had a "sun glare" I think it is. My question is, how would I prevent this? Is it from shooting into the sun most likely? Would a CP reduce that?

Any suggestions on how to prevent it would be appreciated. Sun was pretty much in front of me the whole time. This isnt the best picture out of the bunch, but just the first one I saw with the effect, so no harsh critiquing please, as it is totally un-edited, and not one of the best as stated before.:D

Flare's caused by light hitting all those bits of glass in your lens and reflecting around at funny angles. Adding more filters to the front of the lens just gives more surfaces to bounce around on. I always found taking all the filters off and making sure the lens was spotless helped. No greasy smears either.

That, and just plain move somewhere else...

Oh, and you were using a lens hood right?

No hood, after I posted this I did some googling, and found I need to get a few, since they are only like $30 a pop. But thanks for the tips. Ill get some more pics up later when I get a chance to edit them if need be.

Here is one I did a quick edit of. His face seems to be a bit out of focus, but other than that I think it turned out pretty good. This thing woulda def had the fastest time if it were not for him face planting into the asphalt.

Any C&C on the 2nd pic is welcome. I know its not the best, this is the first fast-paced action Ive shot, so wasnt sure what to expect.

I am hoping to have some more up by the weekend, getting busy again with classes starting back up!
