she screamed and cried through the whole thing. I am glad we are at least at home. Gonna give it a try again later. you think a black bg would work better?

first al all cute baby =)
I would like to see her hands and feet and they were all cut on a photo...
thry to make the baby look at you - derect contact makes the photo "engaging" with you.
that craw lost the ditails.....

thanks for the edit. It was hard to get her to do anything, but thanks in the reshoot I will try to get her looking at me more. I love how you brightened the bg. did you use dodging or curves with masking?
I do have a couple of shots of her with more hands and feet, but this one had the best expressions.

i used dodge tool (but instead of midtones i selected HIGHLIGHTS) that is by all my favorite for cleaning up white backgrounds =)

Katia, went to your website. beautiful work. Love your processing, love your composition, and love your lighting. what size softboxes are you using.

i just started doing it for people last month!! =)

as far as lighting goes still learning but i use 3 giant softboxes with alien bees 800 in each of them..
this is my rough set up that i took a while back...
teh only thing that is different is now i have white paper...but for high keyyou dont need to have anything fancy because the lights will blow the backgroudn anyways..
on this pic i see i had large softbox for background now i have them all same size (giant)

the only thing that distracts me is the crow!!

i was going to comment on the crow too....

id scream if i was taking a picture with that thing too.

but the pumpkins/costume/expression are adorable, id just try to get the feet in there
