To embed an image from flickr, log in to flickr, select the image you want and the size you want it posted as, the URL will come up in a box under the image.

Copy ond paste the URL the posting box, add the tag at the beginning od the url, and the tag at the end. That's it.

It's all contained in the stickies at the top of each section. You'll get more views as it's easier and faster than clicking through each link.

i know how to embed the image, i had done it, but all i got were question marks and no images, so instead of trying to solve the problem, i thought i would just post links to images and figure it out later

Except linking directly to the images from another site outside Flickr without making them clickable links back to Flickr is outside the account guidelines and will get your Flickr account deleted. :?

i did not know that, i just started the flickr page the other day

Yeah, bit of a pain, but I guess in terms of internet ranking and hits for Flickr it makes sense. Using the instructions on that thread it seems easy enough. Until now I've just been using a Photobucket account and Flickr together.

Nearly. You've embedded the images correctly, they just aren't clickable links and don't link back to the photo on your Flickr. Leave it as it is and keep practising... ;)
