I wish I could have found him in my garden, too. Unfortunately, he was on the walkway leading to my front door, so my background choices were a bland concrete path or a beige house.

nice, these guys are usually pretty friendly, next time try picking it up and moving it to the garden. it might get a little flighty when you first put it back down, since it's not used to being handled. raised a few mantids back in the day, lots of fun :)

talk to MJ he's the mantid expert on here :) he should be able to give you lots of pointers :)
