Well that is going to depend on a lot of different things. What is the lighting? Mid Day, evening morning, strobs.

give us some more info so we can better assist.

If you have totally no clue, set the dial on Av, choose f/7.1 and make photos.

Your question is way to generic.

A few Car Lighting Tips - Updated (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=70290)

This shows how the subject can affect the exposure & why manual keeps me worry free:

Judging by your question, I don't expect you to use this, but at least you won't be able to complain that nobody told you? ;)
Try manual. For a good starting point, first set the f-stop & shutter speed you need for the effect you want. Then the other parameter: f-stop or shutter speed. Then adjust the ISO.
Need an exposure crutch? (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=89123) btw what are strobes?? Usually, a separate flash, on camera, off camera, or studio set-up. The term is sometimes used for the built in flash.

Where are you shooting, indoors or outdoors? Low light or high light?

so you really want morning or evening so the light will be cooler and not so harsh. Where are you from? maybe someone here is close enough to you to help teach you.

Sounds like you should do some more reading and practice shots before going out there.
