Have they improved their service - some real Canon bargain prices

I bought the nifty fifty from them last week, arrived this morning... no trouble here.

Yes they have, I got my 50 1.4, 85 1.8 and 1.4 Tcon from them with no problems at all. My first dealings with them 12 months ago was really bad, but as they say, everyone deserves a second chance :o , and in this case it was worth it.

Just something I have just read, I believe 7dayshop.com is Channel Island based.
The UK government is trying to get all offshore retailers to charge VAT. At the moment if t is valued bellow £18.00 VAT is not chargable. The gov. can see millions disappearing with CDs, DVDs and other consumables being sold by these offshore companies.
This does not help with your question but it made me remember what I had just seen in 'Computer Active'.

7 dayshop did themselves no favors when they stared out by quoting all prices without VAT on their website, a lot of people found themselves having to stump up the additional 17.5% when the postie arrived. They have now yielded to the criticism and both quote and charge the VAT (on all VATable items) at source.

I wouldn't hesitate to recomend 7dayshop.com
i have bought many items in the past from them ranging from paper, memoery cards, ink and my most recent purchase a Canon 28-135 IS all have arrived promptly and without problems.
p.s have you seen how cheap the can do the 20D

Bought 2x II TC from them, received 1.4x II instead, after returning it, they refund me straightaway while I was hoping to receive the correct item, other than that, everything else is sweet.
