I want to take advantage of the 30% promotion on eBay... something useful that won't break the bank. I am in real need of a monitor calibration tool... but I don't know what to get. There seems to be two Spyder2 packages, one $70 and the other $125+... what's the difference?

Are there others I should consider? What would you recommend? I want to calibrate my pc laptop, my powerbook, and my monitor at work.

Thanks

+2 for Spyder. I use Spyder 2 Suite for both my iMac & PC and get consistent results and is easy to use.
However this version has been updated, but check whether you will use any of the extra features offered. I chose Spyder 2 Suite over the basic version because it allowed me to adjust more settings, but for most people the basic version should be fine.
