I have written a little VB2008 app that can be used for camera clubs who want to run a projected digital image competition. It is basically a slideshow viewer like the Windows one, Irfan View etc. But it has scoring facilities, thumbnails, timers and other functions that are helpful during a competiton. It supports judging of the images as they are displayed, in much the same way a traditional slide competition was run with a mechanical projector.
I shall be giving it away to anyone who wants it, once I work out a few methods of distribution and I wonder if POTN has any interest in making it available to my fellow members here? I don't know if the system here would allow it to be downloadable from somewhere on the site, or perhaps a link to another site would be better.
In any case it is available if there is any interest, there must be a few camera club members here I guess.
