i shot my boys pro fight a couple of months ago, just got on this forum and i figured this is the best place for some good C&C
the shots were taken mainly using the 70-200 f4l is...i should have used my tammy 28-75, but forgot to bring it....i also used the siggy 10-20 in between some shots. I never knew how hard shooting a boxing match till i tried it, lowlight, no flash and fast moving objects, cant get any harder than that....i tried my best.

You had good light since it was a Shobox event, but I think your images would have benefitted from a f2.8 lens. Anytime there are TV cameras present, that USUALLY means there will be good light. I think the f4 was pushing it even with good light. These images seem a bit on the dark side. I tend to like mine a tad dark, but this is a bit much for my taste. Most boxing photographers use a 24-70mm f2.8 wide open even with the good ring lighting. You want that f2.8 so that in case you have a very pales skinned fighter, you can go down a stop so as not to blow out the fighter's skin. 1/400 or 1/500 will stop the action and an ISO of 1000 is usually what I use. Depending on the venue, you can use ISO 800, 1000,1250 and if you get a bad venue, you'll use ISO 3200(30D has an equivilent for 3200 which is the "H"). I use 24-70mm when I am ringside and will sometimes put on the 70-200mm f2.8 to get some facial closeups of the fighters while they are in their corners. The closeups look nice, but I would like to see more action shots.

+1 I took his advice on my first boxing match and worked like a charm.
