Hi,

I do not normally use filters on my lens, but for UV ones for protection.
But i would like to try polarizing filter on my 17-55.

Can anyone suggest, which ones are good in market? The brand and the model?

I do not want to go for too costly ones. Around 50 USD is good for me.

The 17-55 takes a 77 mm filter; you'll be hard-pressed to find a good polarizer for that in the $50 range.

The good quality filters (polarizer, or anything else for that matter) are B+W MRC, Heliopan SH-PMC or Hoya S-HMC od DMC. Anything else (including other offerings from those makers) pretty much isn't worth having.
