This is my atempt at selective coloring, i understand many don't like selective coloring which is why i put it in the title.. so if you are reading this and dont like selective coloring... well i just don't got anything nice to say to you :D

There is nothing more precious than a sleeping baby! She is beautiful. Great capture! Some people just way over-do it with the SC, but i dont think you have over done it.

Lovely image.

My only suggestion would be to alter the colors of the binky from green and yellow to blues or pinks. Something more "infant friendly..."

The binky as it is here just draws the eye to it like a laser.

I did some changing of colors, not sure how good it turned out but maybe its a better color for a baby girl? Just so you know the previous color is the actual color of the binkie :)

Better but try pulling some more saturation out of the binky...

It's just a big ol' neon sign that overpowers the entire image (IMO).

I think its an adorable baby and a great shot...and while im not a fan of selective color for my own photos - i can see how lots of other people like it! Im not so sure about this one though -I find any photo with selective color draws your eye (and keeps your attention) wherever the color is. It makes me only want to look at the binky - instead of the rest of her sweet little face!

you should post lots more of little abby - she's a doll

lol I don't think my daughter hit 12 lbs 7 oz until she was 6 months old and at 9 months she's still not 2'4". Great picture, especially with the light pink pacifier.

Yea our baby doctor freaked out when we went in for our 6 week check up. She said we are going to have a very tall child. She scored 90% in all her percentiles what ever that means :D

LOL...my daughter Josie is 4 months old. When we went into our 4 month check-up for her the other day, she weighed 14 lbs and was only 25 inches long! So your daughter would tower her if they could stand lol. They said Josie was in the 70th percentile for her weight and height. and with the percentile thing cause i saw where you said (whatever that means) basically it just means that statistically out of 100 babies, your baby would be bigger than 89 of them! your baby is very tall! My daughter Kyli who is 2 is in the 97th percentile for height and nobody believes that she just turned 2! They think she is older.

yea people are shocked when they see her cause she is not big and chubby. I mean when we told my wifes grandmother who was in portugal for the last 6 months she came back on the weekend expecting to see this 6 week old sack of potatoes but was shocked to see she was well porportioned.
