Here are some from Holly and Zach's wedding a few weeks ago that I thought I would share. Since I can only post 8 images, you'll have to see the rest on my blog. It was a fun wedding with tons of cool little details!

They are good shots, but how come some of the shots (espeially shot 1 and the some of the skin on shot 2) is extremly pixely? Did you have the ISO up a fair bit on those shots?!?!

thats awesome, i have never seen that before at a wedding, what an awesome idea. great angle as well. i checked out your blog and website, great sites. it looks like you travel alot. do you incorporate travel expense into your fees for weddings?

Thanks everyone!

Tom, the inside ones are natural light and on camera flash while the second was lit with my ProFoto Acute 600R Battery Pack and strobe with a softbox. The last one was with off-camera flash.

Cliff, I had to position myself VERY carefully!:)

Thanks guys!

On number 2, it was lit with the Profoto Acute 600R battery and Profoto head with a 2x3 Chimera softbox. I will be teaching this same setup and have everyone shoot in our plus class at WPPI in February if anyone is interested(I think there are only 2 spots left though.):(

hey i saw on your website that you were booked for a week in February or march next year, why would the couple need you for more than 2 days, how much do you charge for something like this?

hey i saw on your website that you were booked for a week in February or march next year, why would the couple need you for more than 2 days, how much do you charge for something like this?

For my destination weddings, I will fly in a couple of days before the wedding so that I have time to get to look around and arriving an extra day also ensures that I get there in case of any travel emergencies, delays, etc... I will then shoot the wedding and then I will usually stay a couple of days after to relax and enjoy myself!:D

I charge my normal collection rate plus airfare and hotel(3 or 4 nights) for me and an assistant. I hope that helps.

I think if you looked at my calendar in February, I blocked off a week or so because I will be teaching and judging at WPPI in Las Vegas.

Thanks!

Kevin

ohh gotcha, what airline do you use and hotels, that can be expensive right?

KJImages

It depends, I like to fly American because I have miles and I usually stay at the same resort that the couple does. They usually get a good rate on rooms since they usually block off a set for their wedding.
