can anyone tell me if and how to post images here on this site?

upload them to a website, such as www.uploadpixels.com (http://www.uploadpixels.com) or ur own personal site (do not use geocities or angelfire or anyother generic hosters as they block images on other sites) then just post the link in a image BB code, and it should show.

Ex: [ img]http://www.canadarules.ca/images/ourflag.jpg [/img ]

NOTE: Do no put spaces in ur [] tags as it will not work. http://www.canadarules.ca/images/bridge.jpg

www.photobucket.com is really good for storing images.
