Hi there I'm new

Sorry if I am posting in the wrong place, but I thought I should introduce myself.
I am a 30 year old mum from Australia...and I am hoping to learn how to take great pics with my new camera. I only bought it yesterday, LOL. I am very excited to learn though.

I have a Canon EOS 300D. I got an extra lens with it as well, which is a 55 - 200mm f/4 5-5.6 II USM, whatever that means, LOL.

g'day! excellent that you're from 'the gong'!! as you say (in the other thread), it's a small world. congrats on the new camera - you'll definitely find that this forum is a great place, but be careful... it's very easy to read a few threads and be convinced you need to buy something - especially at australian prices :eek:

LOL, I know what you mean. But, I will just have to control myself!! I've just totally blown my budget on my new camera, LOL, so won't be buying anything for a while.

It looked heaps cheaper in American dollars, but then it was too late I had to have it. Two thousand Australian dollars.:rolleyes:
