Manawatatutawatu Gorge

[Rendezvous]

Ok, the Maori names get confusing. This was taken this evening when I went exploring in the Manawatu Gorge. This is the river that runs through it, at the entry to the gorge. There's some other good views further up (including a wind-turbine farm), but the narrow, windy, busy road doesn't exactly facilitate me+camera walking along it!
