There have been many posts from various fairs/carnivals recently. I guess its that time of year. These are from the Mid South Fair in Memphis Tennessee.

Amazing pics - a lovely range of colourful shots!

The first makes me laugh - the disgruntled looking duck in the foreground looks like he's giving the bird! (no pun intended!!) "If you're not going to win me then $@*% off"

I love all the shots and would be very proud if any of them were mine! Nice work....

I love the clown, great capture! And my all-time faves are of the rides taken with slow shutter speeds - I can hear all the sounds associated with them!

Thanks for posting.

Those are some amazing shots you've got. I tried experimenting with similar photography at the fryeburg fair in Maine. My camera is a Powershot S3 IS with a wide angle converter. It's limited to F2.7- F8 with a 2" exposure. What aperture/shutter speed did you use on these shots and were you handheld or on a tripod or monopod?

Thanks for the comments guys. Haha yes the duck didnt like having his photo taken so he is flipping me off. The ride photos were taken at f8, the first one being for one second, the next one at five seconds, and the last at eight seconds. Those were all taken using a tripod and a remote shutter release.

I like them. I like how you use repetition as a theme in most of them. Very good.
