Has anyone asked the obvious question yet?
I haven't seen it posted and I've been looking.

What/When is the availability, here in the states.
Anyone hear? If not, I was going to call around today to find out.

I just called B&H in the NYC and they said we should hear something next week.

I doub't they'll sell too many, sounds like a very specific use. Having to have an IR blocking filter strapped to your lens for everyday use would be a pain. I'm thinking most of these are destined to be attached to telescopes or microscopes. I'm certainly glad they are offering specialized stuff though. Hopefully a body with a monochrome sensor will be along soon.
