I am doing a shoot this weekend for a company that I have worked for before. They want 64 blocks of cheese shot. The products must first be shot straight on, then a side shot.

These shots are to be masked later in Photoshop to adapt to an online shopping website that re-inacts a "store shelf" displaying products. Making a virtual shopping experience.

The main thing that I am worried about is the glare that might happen on the plastic cheese wrapper making labels unreadable.
I have done a similar shoot for this company with chocolate bars.
It turned out pretty well, but the problem was that some of the wrappers were almost "foil" like. Meaning high reflection. Making it hard to read the labels on some bars..

I shot them from a boom, down onto a tabletop, to allow a flat front image. With two small softboxes left and right of subject. On grey paper backdrop. with white reflector cards at camera front for fill.
I was thinking of doing the same lighting setup.

Any advice on glare reduction? and settup??
any input would be awesome!
Thanks everyone.

A polarizer may help with the reflections. Also, since your subject is static, use diffuse light reflected from the ceiling and walls which will minimize the hot spots.. You can then use a longer exposure time. Good luck, post some shots when you are done. Dennis
