In a recent post I crossed the line asking for bad weather, why I'm not sure. Maybe I wanted a test, maybe I wanted a break from the ordinary shots of harsh sun with exposure all over in exchange for kids covered in mud. Maybe I just need to ride the short bus to the games, any way you look at it I got it today. Good game for the home squad (blue). So as they upload to the site here's some of them...

Canon Mark IIn
Canon 300 2.8 IS
1.4 tele
Manuel Mode
ISO 1600
SS 1/500-1/800 normally
Think Tank Rain Cover
Rain comes free
Post = NN, auto levels, thats bout it.

#5 - How to get your picture taken a lot, repeatedly run towards the photog.

#6 - Breakin up a pass late in the game, where the heck is the receiver??

#7 - To end the game the kid asked if he could go sack the QB, coach asked if he could do it. He did...this ended it.

#8 - Screw listening to coach, lets look to the fat guy with the camera.

I'm not sure what's better. Your photos or the little commentary with them. Nice job in crappy conditions.

Nice shots under the dark and rainy skies. Look a little dark on my non calibrated monitor, so likely they're fine :-)

Who's Manuel Mode? :-)

muwahaha, someone noticed :) He's my cousin, we hang.

Yea, it was a dark game but not too bad. I'm sure they can be lightened up a bit without losing the actual setting they were taken in. In other words, I'm not going to post process to the point it looks like a nice bright sunny day as it wasn't. Honestly don't believe in editing that much as it should be right in camera as much as possible to catch whats happening. But yea, probably are a wee bit dark.

They revoked it...

I tell ya for the first time in a long time I miss playing, if it wasn't for those sounds I make when I stand up I'd go hit the tryout circuit.

Thanks....but remember to only post images to expand the learning process, help the OP, or when asked to and not randomly. A lot view it as "hijacking". Seen it before on here someone getting upset cuz of it. It does bring up a good group post idea though, bad weather images...of course you know someone would cheat and post a volleyball pic saying "it was bad outside but great inside".
