Taken at the Jacksonville zoo with Canon 10D; 75-300mm @ 300mm ISO 100; Tv 1/100; f5.6.
The day was sunny and warm and this guy didn't move for over 30 minutes.
Comments please.

It's a really great capture to me and I love the position the gorilla is in. (it's as if he's sulking or something  )
For critiques, the leaf on the right side is a bit distracting, but there probably weren't many other places you could have moved to not have it there? Also, it could use more contrast and be a little bit darker to my eyes.
Really great shot though! I'm hoping to go take photos at the zoo very soon and will be lucky to get one this good! ;)

What a beautiful beast. I like the expression. Great shot.

I agree the image could perhaps be a bit darker, I was more interested in the shadows around the eyes. Thank you for the input.

Hi Bob,
Nice shot. I tried to lighten the shadows under his eyse. I am not sure if I really improve the image.

Very nice shot. Interesting that I was at that same zoo in January and took photos of the silverbacks, none as good as this.

Great shot, I love how you got the tree and the leaves in it.
