I am going to drive the Bonneville 100 next June in my Father's Jaguar. I am totally stoked. I will be racing in the 125 class and I would LOVE to shoot some photos and maybe some video of the event.

Here's the rub. No loose objects allowed in the car. Everything must be mounted. There is a rollbar we can mount to, but I am curious, how have you done it, or how would you do it?

What is the best product out there? Or is there a good DIY solution?

Looking forward to your ideas / knowledge... Thanks!

It's certain that you'll need some way of securely mounting a camera inside a car. Look through the collection of available clamps and mounting equipment, (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/category/1172/Studio_Equipment_Grip_Mounting_Equipment.html) then make your choice. There's a chance that hardware store or automotive store equipment may meet your needs.

If you're too busy driving to handle a shuttler button, Canon makes a remote with a timer control (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/164271-REG/Canon_2477A002_Timer_Remote_Controller_TC_80N3.htm l) that may suit your needs.
