hey guys ima gonan be doing a car shoot at night im wokring with a canon 450d with the kit lense 18-55mm what are the best settings for me to use and what kinda angles shud i go for???

Try manual in those tough conditions. For a good starting point, first set the f-stop & shutter speed you need for the effect you want. Then the other parameter: f-stop or shutter speed. Then adjust the ISO.

tripod is a must in your situation. some of my best night time shots are from the kit lens. i find low angle shots to be good. good luck!
