Lens comparisons

Hi, this is my first post to this group - I just cam from rob galbraiths. For anyone interested in 'real world' test images of several of canons 'L' and non 'L' lenses - then please feel free to go to my website test page at www.phototeknik.com/tests/index.htm - I hope people get value from these tests. Sorry that the subject matter is not very interesting!

They are very interesting. But it seems these are resized full frames and not crops. It would be much more revealing seeing e.g. a crop from center and from one corner.

What is confusing why

don't have same focal lenght - maybe the files are mixed up, or did you move the camera?

In any way it's clear that 85/1.2 is a lens with personality...

I have a lot of problems uploading images to my server bacause I only have dial-up. this has severely limited the amount and quality of the images I have put on the site. When I get ADSL I will make the site much higher quality. I will look at the images you referenced to see if I miss named then. Thanks for looking
