Simple (i think) webdesign job

Hey, right now i use simpleviewer gallery for showing off some photos.

However i want something just a bit more advanced, a About and a contacts link maybe.
Edit: Oh, and also a "clients" page maybe? Or just the possibility for me to add later :P

I did a quick mockup of the idea:

When i click a link, i want the text to appear where the photo is currently.

I think the only way to accomplish this would be to put the simpleviewer in an iFrame, then make separate pages that look identical with the about and contact.

As others said, cant really edit simpleviewer to that extent.

yeah i was thinking iframes. i think i've done this a while back. i have a bad memory, but iframes should definitely work.

The main downside of iFrames I've come across is some AV/Trojan software will block them can't remember which ones though. This is another reason:

That should cover the salient points as to why you shouldn't use them ;)

The design should be easy enough to accomplish though with DHTML/Server Side coding rather than Flash it just depends on how automated you want the process.

I guess something with frames could work.
To bad simpleviewer cant be altered in that way :/

Another downside to iFrames would be search indexing. If a search engine picks up on content in one of your frames, it may link to that frame, rather then the main page.

Simpleviewer is based on flash, you could use wordpress as a main page and then use the simpleviewer plugin to show of you images ;)
