It looks like it's in the tropics. :)

Love the second one.
The first one is TOO much for my taste. Maybe less saturation? Cool the temperature a little? I don't know but it doesn't fit my fancy. if YOU like it, then who cares though, Right? ;)

I like 'em both... particularly the second one. The slightly desaturated look works well there.

I like both; very little noise in that lifeguard tower shot. What camera do you shoot with and what noise reduction do you use.
Never mind, I was just looking through your photo blog and found the answers, unless you upgraded recently.
Great photo's on your filcker also, thanks for your tips on the blog. You must be one cool dude to share your techniques; most people like to keep those things to themselves.

I like the sunup one the best... but there seems to be some lost detail on the stump in the left foreground. I don't know if the exposures you got captured any of that detail, but it seems to me that the point of HDR is to capture as much detail as you can throughout the dynamic range of the shot.
Don't get me wrong: it's a great picture, but I'd just like to see more "woodiness" coming from that stump.

thanks guys... fidelio, i think because the sun was coming from behind the stump, the camera couldnt get much detail from it as it was dark out and i metered for the orange sky..i prolly could have metered the stump but then it would have prolly totally ruined the sky.. or use secont curtain flas on the last shot...Hmmmm

Craig, most of your stuff would look outstanding on Metallic Paper. I just got some back last week on Metallic paper and man, it took my breath away. :)

Well, I would take some pics of my Metallic Paper shots, but I don't think it would do them justice. I'll guarantee one thing, you won't be dissappointed. Where are you going to have them printed? I use WHCC (http://www.whcc.com/) and for 4 8x10's on Metallic Paper, it was the minimum $12 and delivered in like 2 days. Of course, I live close to them. Make sure you do that pink diner and the one with the old coke machine, and #1 from here. ;)
