well..for the second time in my life I have a decent monitor as my SyncMaster arrived. The other one was a Mitsu cathode ray some eight years ago...since then I have used my portable to make photos and now..WOW!

The refurbished SyncMaster arrived today in a yellow La Poste van.
I got it in place, made a so-about calibration with the Mac syspref calibrator and -impatient as I am- started to look at pictures I took today.

Quel bonheur, mes amis!
What a pleasure!

I can actually SEE what is in the picture.
I can turn the thing to posrtrait or scenery position.
tomorrow, as I get the digicable, I can listen to music while I pl...work.

This is all your fault and I love you for having me make the decision.
Probably, my prints won't change much. But I will have such a great time making them.

The last thing missing..a Wacom pad.
I gave the one I bought to my son.

Should I get another one...
What a silly question! Life is short and there are only so many toys you'll ever have the time to play with.

but I leave you now, I'll enjoy what is on the Other Screen.

wow, man...this is great....

well here I am having processed my first prints with the setup.
My masseters are tired from wearing a silly grin while working...the prints surprise me one after another

how come I had not realized that it is important to see what you are doing while manipulating photos

well, now I do and this must be about the best thing one can do with one's pants on....

thanks, guys, for giving me the push....

I am glad you enjoy it, there is definitely an advantage in being able to see your work before you print.

And I am impressed it made it all the way to you in one piece.

Thanks, NZ.
Once the French will realize how much they get f...taken advantage of by their incompetent, overpriced and slow stores, everybody will get their stuff from HK or US.

Choice, speed, price.
Having been surfing on POTN for so long I just cannot settle for "n'importe quoi".

Unbelievable how well guys here are informed.
Beats most photozines.
