New Canon 2.4 L II

I know there is a new Canon 2.4L II f1.4 on the horizon. I am wondering if anyone can answer some questions about this lens. I should say that I was really looking forward to the 2.4L.

My first question is what differences might be in this new lens that make it worth waiting for a new and improved model.

My second question is if anyone knows about when it is supposed to be released.

I intend to use the lens for landscapes and pictures of fish caught both on the beach and in a boat....... and the best catching is usually in low light.

Wow, 2.4mm would be one WIDE lens. You could take a picture of your subject and yourself all in the same frame.

Well, it's meant to be weather sealed which may be a bonus for you if you're at the beach and on a boat...
